About MUSAL

MUSAL is made up of the two Founder's names- Muskaan and Gazal- Mus+al=Musal.

The literal meaning of Musal is 'according to the muse' or somewhere it also means as 'uncomparable'.

ORIGIN

MUSAL originated at our home in the city of Faridabad(Delhi NCR) because of our mother's vision to have a label in fashion. Her keen interest in fashion led me(Muskaan) to a renowned fashion school in Delhi for my Bachelor's Degree. It was her will and guts to start with a tailor at home, arranged all the necessary things and started it with due passion and integration and initiated by making clothes for close friends and family members. 

But sadly god had other plans for her. She fell sick and passed away in the May,2018. I then actually came into the picture when I took hold of it in August,2018. I engaged my sister with me for help and since then it is called - MUSAL.

SHOPMUSAL

Shopmusal came into the picture when we decided to launch our website in the year 2021. The domain name restricted us with shopmusal and hence the handle for Instagram, Facebook and all other social media platforms.

What we create?

We at musal incorporate everything that includes traditional Indian techniques to modern fashion aesthetics and sensibilities. We at musal currently have collections based on techniques like block prints, ikat, evolved version of gota patti and machine embroidery.
